Skip down below to see all the advantages to each type of fabric we offer.

Eco Elite Fabric

Eco Elite™

Eco Elite™ is a solution dyed polyester product coated with Teflon Eco Elite™. Unlike traditional dyeing methods where color is applied to the fabric after it's woven, solution dyeing involves adding the color pigments to the polyester solution before it's extruded into fibers. This process ensures that the color penetrates deeply into the fibers themselves, making it highly resistant to fading, even when exposed to harsh sunlight and marine environments for prolonged periods. As a result, boat covers made from solution-dyed polyester maintain their vibrant colors and original appearance far longer than covers made from other materials.

Another significant advantage of Eco Elite™ for boat covers is its resistance to stains, mildew, and moisture. The inherent properties of polyester, coupled with the solution dyeing process, create a fabric that repels water and prevents the growth of mold and mildew. This makes it an ideal choice for protecting boats from the elements, whether they're moored at the dock, stored on a trailer, or cruising on the water. Additionally, the fabric's resistance to stains ensures that spills and other messes can be easily cleaned, maintaining the cover's aesthetic appeal and extending its lifespan.

Furthermore, Eco Elite™ offers superior strength and abrasion resistance, providing reliable protection for boats against scratches, tears, and other damage. The tightly woven fibers of solution-dyed polyester create a durable barrier that shields the boat from debris, UV rays, and other potential hazards encountered during storage or transit. This durability not only enhances the longevity of the boat cover but also provides added peace of mind to boat owners, knowing that their investment is well-protected. Additionally, the lightweight nature of solution-dyed polyester makes it easy to handle and install, further enhancing its practicality and usability for boat owners of all skill levels.

Aqualon Fabric

Aqualon®

Aqualon® is a vinyl coated polyester that is a popular choice for boat covers due to its exceptional durability and weather resistance. The vinyl coating adds an extra layer of protection to the polyester fabric, making it highly resistant to water, UV rays, and other environmental factors. This ensures that the boat remains well-protected from moisture, mold, and sun damage, even during extended periods of exposure to harsh marine conditions. Additionally, the vinyl coating enhances the fabric's strength and tear resistance, providing reliable protection against abrasions, punctures, and other potential sources of damage.

One of the key benefits of Aqualon® for boat covers is its ease of maintenance and cleaning. The smooth surface of the vinyl coating repels dirt, stains, and debris, making it easy to wipe clean with a mild soap and water solution. This ensures that the boat cover maintains its appearance and performance over time, without requiring extensive upkeep or special cleaning treatments. Furthermore, the non-porous nature of the vinyl coating prevents the growth of mold and mildew, helping to keep the boat cover looking and smelling fresh for years to come.

Additionally, Aqualon® offers excellent UV resistance, providing long-lasting protection against the sun's harmful rays. The vinyl coating acts as a barrier, reflecting UV radiation away from the boat cover and preventing it from penetrating the fabric and causing fading or degradation. This helps to preserve the cover's color and integrity, ensuring that it retains its appearance and performance even after prolonged exposure to sunlight. As a result, boat owners can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their investment is well-protected and will continue to provide reliable protection for their vessel for years to come.

Sunbrella Fabric

Sunbrella®

Adventures on the water require a vessel well-equipped to handle sun and sea spray. Sunbrella offers trusted comfort and protection for boat covers and tops. No matter what the weather or ocean bring, Sunbrella marine fabrics ensure your boat maintains its quality and appearance for you to enjoy comfortably.

Sunbrella marine fabrics are engineered to protect your boat against the elements in harsh marine environments, including resistance against constant exposure to the sun, rain, salt, or humidity.

Another significant advantage of Sunbrella for boat covers is its breathability, which helps to prevent moisture buildup and reduce the risk of mold and mildew growth. Acrylic fibers are naturally hydrophobic, meaning they repel water and allow air to circulate freely through the fabric. This promotes ventilation and evaporation, keeping the interior of the boat cover dry and reducing the likelihood of condensation and humidity buildup. As a result, acrylic boat covers provide reliable protection against moisture-related damage while also helping to maintain a comfortable environment for the boat and its contents.

All Sunbrella fabrics are resistant to mold and mildew. Should exposure to dirt, debris, sun lotion, or other environmental elements cause mold or mildew to occur, simply spot clean with a bleach solution.

Durable Sunbrella fibers are saturated to the core with color and UV stabilized pigments, ensuring our fabrics won’t fade or become damaged due to the sun’s harsh rays or normal wear. Sunbrella fabrics, unlike ordinary fabrics, are solution-dyed with rich colors that stay brilliant over time no matter the environment.

Unlike some marine fabrics that trap heat in, Sunbrella marine canvas fabrics allow air to pass through, creating a cool and comfortable boating experience for all on board.
